Conventional Extrusion Lines
with Force Feed Silo

Conventional recycling lines are ideal to recycle plastic materials in form of film or granules using a grinding mill. A conventional line consists of a grinder, a forced feeder, an extruder, a filter and a pelletizer.

These systems are designed to reprocess pre-ground material not exceeding ½” in size.

They work in conjunction with a grinder that pneumatically conveys material to the force feed silo.

The silo provides intermediate storage and a consistent feeding to the extruder.

This application is beneficial when processing expanded material at 1-2 pound per cubic foot.

It is a great device for dust containment as well.

Our normal system can accept up to 3% residual moisture without any adverse effects in processing.
