| Conventional Extrusion Lines with Force Feed Silo | ||
| These systems are designed to reprocess pre-ground material not exceeding ½ “ in size. They work in conjunction with a grinder that pneumatically conveys material to the force feed silo. The silo provides intermediate storage and a consistent feeding to the extruder. This application is beneficial when processing expanded material at 1-2 pound per cubic foot. It is a great device for dust containment as well. Our normal system can accept up to 3% residual moisture without any adverse effects in processing. |
